The Pee Wee Contests are a fun and encouraging introduction to the show ring for our youngest fair participants! Designed for youth ages 4–7, this special event gives kids the opportunity to experience what it’s like to show an animal in a supportive, non-competitive environment.Participants will step into the ring, practice their showmanship skills, and learn the basics of animal care and handling — all while building confidence and having fun. Eligibility
Open to all youth between the ages of four (4) and seven (7) years old as of January 2023.
Animal Requirements
- Calf Class:
- Participant must provide their own calf.
- Calf must be on the fairgrounds by 6:00 PM the day of the show.
- Calf must be loaded and moved off-site immediately following the show.
- All Other Classes (Goat, Sheep, Swine, Poultry, and Rabbit):
- Animals must be provided by a 4-H member.
