El Paso County Scholarship

Benjamin Andersen is our 2022 4-H Community Service Excellence Award winner.

Among many other accomplishments and titles, Benjamin has served as the President, Vice-President, Reporter, Recreation Leader, and Youth Council Representative for Pals of the Pines 4-H Club.

Benjamin has demonstrated outstanding community service around the Black Forest area, including coordinating food drives, orchestrating a thankfulness campaign for first responders, and lending time and gifts to local seniors during the pandemic.

Benjamin is positively impacting his community and is clearly deserving of this award.

Who is Eligible
: Must be active 4-H youth in El Paso County.
Who Can Nominate: Only 4-H General or Project Leaders can make Nomination.

SUE CROZIER LIVESTOCK SCHOLARSHIP

EL PASO COUNTY JUNIOR LIVESTOCK SALE COMMITTEE SUE CROZIER LIVESTOCK SCHOLARSHIP

Eligibility:
  • High school graduating senior or college freshman enrolled in any Market Projects, Large & Small Animal Projects with the expectation for completion in August 2022.
  • A Livestock Committee Scholarship may be received only once.
Qualifications:
  • Enrolled in the El Paso County 4-H or FFA Livestock Program the year applying.
  • Satisfactory completion of a livestock project the year applying.
  • Minimum of three years in 4-H or FFA club work (can be elsewhere).
  • Minimum of three years successful completion of market livestock projects.
    • Students applying for the Scholarship must be enrolled in a livestock project, but do not necessarily have to be enrolled in a market livestock project, as long as they have successfully previously completed three years in a market livestock project.
  • Participation in 4-H and FFA livestock activities, county fair, livestock judging, etc., to the degree your education or work schedule allows.
  • Minimum of a 3.2 out of 4.0 high school grade point average – and college GPA if applicable.
