Pee Wee Shows
All youth are welcome to participate (age varies per animal).These shows are designed for youth that are not old enough to participate in 4-H (children under 8 years of age). Registration is required for all shows.

Pee Wee Swine Show
Monday, July 16th at 5:00pm in the Owens Livestock Arena Building.Youth will have to find a 4-Her’s pig to borrow for show, no outside pigs allowed.Deadline for registration in Fair Office is

Cavy/Guinea Pig Pee Wee Show
Tuesday, July 17th at 9:30am in Whittemore Building. Deadline for registration in Fair Office is Monday, July 16th by noon. Late entries will not be accepted. You must provide your own guinea pig(s). No more than two entries per exhibitor. Bring your guinea pigs in cages to the Whittemore Building, Tuesday of Fair and check in with the staff. For their safety, guinea pigs must be in carrying cages. No boxes or aquariums will be allowed. Guinea pigs must be in good health or will not be accepted. Exhibitor is responsible for providing food and water.
Pee Wee Goat Show
Tuesday, July 17th at 5:00pm in the Owens Livestock Arena Building.Youth will have to find a 4-Her’s goat to borrow for the show, no outside goats allowed.Any breed can be used. Deadline for registration in Fair Office is Monday, July 16th by noon.
Pee Wee Sheep Show
Wednesday, July 18th at 5:30pm in the Owens Livestock Arena Building.Youth will have to find a 4-Her’s sheep to borrow for show, no outside sheep.Deadline for registration in Fair Office is Tuesday, July 17th by noon.
Pee Wee Poultry Show
Thursday, July 19th at 10:00am in the Poultry Barn. All entries must be mailed and post marked no later than July 9th.Late entries will not be accepted. In an effort to allow kids to bring their pet chickens to show and still enjoy a day at the El Paso County Fair, the
following rules will apply for the Poultry Pee Wee Show. There will be no more than two entries per exhibitor. Birds will be accepted starting at 8:00 am on the Thursday of Fair, and in place no later than 10:00 am on the same day.Birds will be released starting at 5:00 pm on the Thursday of Fair.All birds must be removed no later than 8:00 pm. Exhibitor is responsible for providing feed and bedding for their bird. There will be food and water containers available at the barn.Coops will be set up for birds to be caged in for the day of show only. Showmanship will start at 10:00 am.
Judging of the birds will follow immediately after showmanship. There will be a short awards ceremony after showmanship and
Pee Wee Rabbit Show & Showmanship
Thursday, July 19th at 11:00am in the Rabbit Barn.All entries must be mailed/emailed by July 9th.Late entries will not be accepted.Only one entry per exhibitor. The rabbit shown/used must belong to the exhibitor, not a 4-Her from within the barn.If cages are available, exhibitors may cage their rabbit in the barn for the day. Exhibitor is responsible for providing feed and bedding for their rabbit.There will be food and water containers available at the barn.All rabbits entered are REQUIRED to have an Ear Tag number PRIOR to Fair. All rabbits entered are REQUIRED to have this ear tag number noted on the entry or the entry will be rejected. Tattooing will be available in the Rabbit Barn on Barn Cleanup Day (the Saturday before Fair begins). Rabbits will be accepted starting at 9:00 am on the Thursday of Fair.All Pee Wee exhibitors should be checked into the Rabbit Barn by 10:30 am and in place no later than 11:00 am. Rabbits will be released starting at 5:00 pm on the Thursday of Fair. All rabbits must be
removed no later than 8:00 pm.Show will start promptly at 11:00 am. Exhibitors need to check in at the Rabbit Barn prior to the show to receive their show card. Showmanship will start promptly after the rabbit show. There will be a short awards ceremony after showmanship.
Bucket Calf Show- Sponsored by Mikita Dairy
Thursday, July 19th at 4:30pm in the Owens Livestock Arena Building. Open to all youth between the ages of five to seven years as of January 2017. One calf per exhibitor. Please bring calves to the north end of the Owens Livestock Arena Building at 4:15 pm for check in. Bucket calves are only allowed on the grounds for the duration of the show.They need to be loaded in and out on July 19th.Stalling for the bucket calves will not be provided for any extended period of time.The old fire lane with entrance off 10th Street is the unloading and loading access.All bucket calves need to be off the Fairgrounds one hour after the show. Maximum number of entries is 15 which is decided on a first come first service basis.Deadline date for entries is July 15th. There will be no sale of bucket calves. The calf entered must have been bottle-raised by the contestant and must not be older than 120 days.
