The El Paso County Fair & Events Center is excited to bring back our Fall Fest - with new Events & Entertainment.
Join us, Saturday, October 28th from 12pm - 5pm for fun for all.

* Gymkhana & Horse Costume Contest starting @ 1pm (Arena)
* Haunted Barn - (Indoor Arena)
* Trough or Treat - (Carnival Grounds)
Check out your favorite Fair animals in Costume!
* Oktoberfest - Special Food & Drink (Beer Garden)
* Live music and games - (Farmer's State Bank Pavilion).
* Vendors - (Grandstands Building & Vendor Row)
Kickstart your holiday shopping or pick up some last-minute
spooky gifts and treats.

Once you are all done here, don't forget to head across the street to the Calhan School Halloween Bash.

2023 Fall Fest Gymkhana

The 2023 Fall Fest Gymkhana will feature Barrel Racing, Pole Bending, Flag Race, Key Hole, a Surprise Event, and a Costume Contest (Horse & Rider).
$3 entry fee per event.
Ribbons awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place.
Costume Contest Winner wins receives Ribbon and a 2024 El Paso County Fair Golden Ticket.

East Gate will open for contestants at 1pm.
Must enter through east gate, participant + 1 receive free admission to Fall Fest. Additional guests must pay $5 Fall Fest Admission.
Contestant Fee/Admission Fee allows for Arena or Grandstands viewing.

2023 Trough or Treat

Trough or Treat Participants will set up similar to a trunk or treat on the carnival grounds.

Bring your own vehicle/trailer/stall and set up as part of our walk-through Trough or Treat experience.

All costumed animals or decorative displays wanted. Animals must be friendly and contained within your vehicle or corral area.

Participants receive 2 free admission to Fall Fest.

Please bring goodies to distribute for Trough or Treat.
Best Trough or Treat Display Contest will be held. Ribbons awarded to 1st, 2nd, 3rd place.
2024 El Paso County Fair Golden Ticket awarded to best Trough or Treat Display.

Gates will open for set up at 9am.
Please Enter through the South Gate (Main Gate) and proceed onto the carnival grounds.

2023 Fall Fest Vendor Registration

The 2023 Fall Fest would like to invite fun product vendors to join our event. Vendors will be set up in the Grandstands Building (indoor) or in vendor areas along vendor row (outdoor).
$25 - Indoor Spaces are 10x8 with power available. Must bring your own tables/chairs. Space selection is made on arrival. No canopies are allowed inside the building.
$25 - Outdoor Spaces are 20x20. Power is available at some locations.
$100 - Food Truck Spaces ($125 with power) are currently FULL. Applications will be put on a waitlist.
Event time 12pm-5pm. Set up opens at 9am, but be fully set up and all vehicles moved by 11:45.
Tear down after 5pm.
Vendor fees significantly reduced, please provide goodies for children.
Vendor Registration includes admission for 2 people.
